Recreational Dance (FOR FUN!)
Our recreational stream is perfect for kids aged 7 to 15 who want to dance for fun, without the pressure of competitions or exams! It’s all about enjoying great performance opportunities while receiving top-notch dance training. With no compulsory classes, your child can choose their favorite styles—or try them all! ENROL FOR A TRIAL
Generation Dance offers a paid trial class for new students, so no big term fees are due until you're sure your child loves it.
Payments are automated, so when you register for a trial, you'll submit a direct debit form. The trial fee will be deducted once your child is confirmed, along with a one-time $5.50 setup fee. If your child doesn’t want to continue, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll cancel the direct debit. If you don’t let us know, we’ll automatically enrol you in our monthly payment plan. Dancers from Year 8 onwards may join our EEP technique classes in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary/Lyrical as a RECREATIONAL student, please contact the office for more information.
ADDITIONAL CLASSES
REC students may further their technique by enrolling in Exam classes. Students must attend the REC class for their age group in the same genre as the exam class they are undertaking. For example; a REC student attending Grade 1 Ballet exam must also attend Junior Ballet.

PERFORMANCES
Recreational students get two exciting chances to perform each year—at our Mid-Year Showcase in June and the End-of-Year Showcase in December! The fun of learning performance routines is part of every class. It's a great way for your dancer to shine on stage!
